Sicky-heads

We have had some yucky yucky stuff invade our home.  Last Friday Justin came home from work because he had the chills and some bad body aches.  I had been fighting feeling nauseous all that morning and by the time he was home...it started to hit me hard.  We were SO sick.  I mean the bad bad kind that you think your insides are turning inside out.  Poor Trey thankfully didn't get what we had, but did have a stuffy nose.  Needless to say...the weekend was a major bust.  Thank God for grandparents, Trey escaped for a while to Great Grandma's house and let mommy and daddy sleep for a bit.  I truly don't know what we would have done without them.  We were so sick we could hardly get out of bed.  Between laying on the bathroom floor and trying to keep any food or liquid down, we were not in the best position to be fun parents.

On Sunday we started to feel a little better and felt like we needed to get some fresh air.  So, we headed to McCall for the winter carnival to get a looksie at the ice sculptures and breath in that mountain air.  We drove up and Trey slept the ENTIRE way!  We couldn't believe it.  For those who don't know me well, we have been struggling big time in the sleeping department, so it was a treat!  We talked the whole way and enjoyed the peaceful quiet!  We bundled up and walked through McCall on the look out for some beautiful icy creations.  But...we just didn't see much.  I have been to this festival several times in my life and usually it is a blast with so much to look at.  Unfortunately this year there may have not been enough snow, but there just wasn't much goin on.  We didn't care though, it felt good getting out and we loved seeing the mountains and frozen lake.  On the way back Trey slept almost the entire way AGAIN!!  We were in shock!  He needed the sleep so bad because he's been a sick baby too!  We got home and the bad mamajamma came after me again.  Sunday night  and Monday I was up again with some nastiness.   Ughh...it was miserable. But...on the upside, I can now say we're feeling better!!  Hopefully it is well behind us and won't come back anytime soon!

And now...onto healthier, more restful days!
