Turkey Day 2010

For Thanksgiving this year my family drove to Coos Bay Oregon to stay with my sister and her husband.  We left on on the week that it just happend to dump TONS of snow all across the North West, so getting there was an adventure!  It took us 10 hrs to get from Boise to Portland.  Not super fun with a 4th mos old stuck in his car seat.  Needless to say...we won't be doing any road trips in the near future, we need a little break from those!  But...over the hills and through the woods we went and made it to Janie and Dylan's house.  We had the best time and I got a good sister fix.  My best friend and her husband met us there as well, so I felt so lucky to be surrounded by all of my most favorite people.

Trey thoroughly enjoyed his 1st Thanksgiving!  He was cuddled, played with and spoiled rotten!

Aunt Janie couldn't keep her hands off of him!  What an adorable auntie!

The boys cooked up the best deep fried turkey I have ever had!  We felt a little redneck out in the drive way fryin up or din din but it was SO yummy!

My best friend and her hubby!  She is my second sister and is apart of my family!  We were so lucky to have them join us this year!  They made it that more special!

After dinner we went to take a look at the ocean then headed over to the Christmas botanical gardens.  It was absolutely beautiful and we had so much fun!  It was the most wonderful Thanksgiving!  I had so much to be thankful this year.  We are so blessed.

Janie cooked the best meal and made the day so special.  It was so hard to leave and my heart just ached driving away from her!  We can't wait for them to move back to Boise so we can bug them more often!  Thanks for the best Thanksgiving Janie and Dylan! We love you!
